A flurry of matches was announced by AEW on Wednesday night, filling out the lineup for Saturday’s special Maximum Carnage episode of Collision, and getting things going for next week’s episode of Dynamite in Florida.

Arguably the biggest matchup on Saturday’s episode, which is being taped this evening in Phoenix, sees Hangman Adam Page attempt to earn six-man tag gold.

On a quest to take away “everything” that Samoa Joe has, Page will team with Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight of JetSpeed to take on Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs for the AEW World Trios Championships. If successful, Page and JetSpeed will be ending what has become the longest-ever reign with the titles in AEW history, nearing the 300-day mark.

In other trios action, SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Scorpio Sky) will take on the Don Callis Family trio of Josh Alexander, El Clon & Kyle Fletcher.

Ex-WWE ID talent Zayda Steel will make her AEW debut when she faces Death Rider member Marina Shafir. The matchup is being made after a confrontation between Steel and Shafir on last week’s episode of Collision.

Andrade El Idolo will make his first in-ring AEW appearance since December 2023 when he faces Angelico. Andrade returned to TV last week and had his signing with AEW confirmed after briefly appearing in late 2025.

And speaking of returns, Penelope Ford will wrestle for the first time since October 2025 when she teams with Megan Bayne. While Ford was out for months due to a torn UCL, she gets to come back in front of her home town fans this week.

A new title challenger will also be found on Saturday, as Jungle Jack Perry and Anthony Bowens will battle it out in a #1 contenders match to face AEW National Champion Ricochet. Perry had a run-in on Wednesday’s Dynamite, preventing Ricochet from further interfering in a tag match by attacking him at ringside.

Along with those matchups is a previously-announced tag bout, which sees Eddie Kingston and the recently returned Ortiz face the Grizzled Young Vets.

The sole announced bout for next week’s AEW Dynamite thus far is a pairing between Kenny Omega and Josh Alexander. While Omega was keen to begin his campaign toward an AEW world title shot with a match against Alexander this week, Don Callis insisted on delaying the match by a week just to mess with his former ally.
