Winter weather has caused AEW to change its plans for this weekend.

While AEW previously planned to present a live episode of Collision this Saturday from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, an anticipated winter storm set to tear through the state has caused the promotion to cancel their show for this weekend.

“Due to impending weather conditions in the region, the #AEWCollision live event originally scheduled for this Saturday, January 24 at Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas has been canceled,” AEW announced on social media today. “Impacted fans will receive an email with instructions for a refund within the next 24-48 hours.”

The show must go on, as they say, as AEW will still present wrestling on Saturday night. Instead of heading to Texas for a show, the plan is that the promotion will instead tape the card tonight in Orlando, Florida, after a live episode of Dynamite wraps up.

While AEW won’t be heading to Arlington this weekend, they’ll return on the 31st for their last event as part of a month-long residency in the city.
