Logan Paul denies official ban from entering Japan after Belfast Raw chants

Logan Paul addressed “banned from Japan” chants from Monday’s Raw in Belfast during the latest episode of his vlog.

The crowd at The SSE Arena taunted Paul throughout a six-man tag, singing that he was “banned from Japan”, a callback to the backlash he faced after filming in Japan’s Aokigahara forest in late 2017. Paul removed the video and later posted an apology in early 2018.

On the vlog, Paul pushed back on the premise of the chant, saying he is not banned “in an official way,” and adding, “How did a room full of absolute morons concoct such a brilliant chant?”

In a 2024 appearance on ‘Impaulsive’, Paul said he could go to Japan but wanted to be “invited back,” adding that he viewed WWE as the most likely route.

WWE has run live events in Japan during Paul’s time with the company, including an October 2025 doubleheader at Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, but the promotion has not staged Raw or a premium live event there in that time.

Paul worked the Belfast show alongside Bronson Reed and Austin Theory as The Vision, losing to Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta.
