A rematch nearly two years in the making will go down as part of this weekend’s AEW Collision lineup.
Seven matchups have been announced for this Saturday’s Collision, which was originally scheduled to go live in Arlington, Texas, but instead is being taped this evening in Orlando, Florida due to weather concerns.
Among the bouts for this weekend’s show is a TBS Championship match between Willow Nightingale and former champ Julia Hart. The bout was made after Hart mentioned on Wednesday’s Dynamite that she never received a rematch from Nightingale after she dropped her TBS title to her at AEW Dynasty back in 2024.
The upcoming booking will be Nightingale’s first title appearance since dethroning Mercedes Moné on a special New Year’s Eve edition of Dynamite last year.
It was also confirmed this evening that former AEW World Champion Hangman Page will take on Katsuyori Shibata as part of this weekend’s Collision lineup. AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will face Isla Dawn in a title eliminator.
Two title meetings have joined next week’s episode of Dynamite.
The aforementioned Statlander will put her title up against Thekla. The Austrian Triangle of Madness leader has been owed a title shot from Statlander ever since she pinned her in multi-woman tag action earlier this month.
We also now know that a TNT Championship match between Mark Briscoe and El Clon, which was originally scheduled for Saturday night, has been moved to next week’s Collision.
