Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY successfully defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal.

The match began with SKY controlling the pace against Morgan, but the challengers quickly utilized underhanded tactics to gain the advantage. While the referee was distracted fixing the ring apron, Morgan choked SKY on the ropes before tagging in Perez to isolate the champion. Morgan later delivered a series of Three Amigos suplexes, a nod to Dominik Mysterio.

Ripley eventually received the hot tag, clearing the ring with a fallaway slam on Morgan. The action escalated with near-falls, including Perez executing Pop Rox on SKY, who managed to kick out just in time.

The match saw significant interference from Raquel Rodriguez, who pulled Ripley out of the ring and delivered a powerbomb to SKY on the floor.

However, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, no longer wearing a walking boot, ran to ringside to neutralize Rodriguez. Vaquer executed a crossbody off the barricade, and the two brawled into the crowd.

In the confusion, Morgan hit ObLIVion on SKY, believing she was the legal competitor. Ripley, who had made a blind tag, entered the ring and hit the Riptide on Morgan to secure the pinfall victory.

Following the match, SKY appeared to be bleeding from the mouth as the champions celebrated their retention.
