Four matchups will go down this evening as part of WWE’s latest Saturday Night’s Main Event show, including the last installment in a decades-long rivalry.
Along with three previously-announced bouts, a new singles meeting between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will take place as part of tonight’s show, which will be streaming live in the U.S. via Peacock.
Styles, who plans to officially retire from wrestling later this year, was called out for a match by Nakamura on last night’s Smackdown. The matchup comes just a week before Styles will put his career on the line against Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble.

Nakamura and Styles have met in 19 different singles bouts over the years. Their past bouts include a No DQ match at Backlash 2018, a 31-minute Last Man Standing bout later that year, and of course, a co-main event clash as part of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10 in 2016.
The bout this evening between Styles and Nakamura will be their first time in a one-on-one contest since 2020.
Tonight’s card will also feature a women’s tag title bout, a Smackdown grudge match between Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu, plus a four-way to determine Drew McIntyre’s first opponent for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Here’s everything we know about tonight’s card in Montreal:
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles
- Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
- IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships)
- Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn vs. Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams (Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender Match)
