Lilian Garcia will serve as the ring announcer for Monday’s WWE Raw in Toronto after Alicia Taylor was unable to travel.
Taylor confirmed on Sunday that flight cancellations caused by severe winter weather had grounded her in the United States. She noted that she was “tagging in” Garcia, who was already in Canada following her appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal. She wrote on Instagram Stories:
Currently at the airport with all canceled flights to Canada soo… tagging in sister LIL for the fill
The “polar vortex” affecting North America has resulted in a state of emergency in several states, complicating travel for talent and staff heading to the Scotiabank Arena.
Despite the conditions, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce posted a video from the snowy streets of Toronto to preview the show.

Standing in the cold, Pearce addressed the return of Bron Breakker following his suspension. Pearce stated that he intends to have a “very candid conversation, eye to eye” with the former Intercontinental Champion regarding both their recent conduct.
