Penta to present ceremonial sword to 2026 AAA Rey de Reyes winner

Penta announced on Saturday’s episode of AAA on Fox that he will personally present a ceremonial sword to the winner of the 2026 Rey de Reyes tournament.

The AEW star, who appeared via a pre-taped video, confirmed he will attend the event in Puebla, Mexico, on March 14. Penta noted that Puebla holds a special place in his heart and he wants to hand the sword to the winner himself.

The tournament will feature four Fatal Four-Way matches, with the victors advancing to a final clash to determine the tournament winner. The winner of Rey de Reyes will receive a future match for the AAA Mega Championship, currently held by Dominik Mysterio.

The first qualifying match for the tournament will take place on next week’s broadcast. The scheduled participants are Jack Cartwheel, Aerostar, Apollo Crews, and La Parka.
