Luchador Arez, who wrestles in AEW under the pseudonym El Clon, has been booked for Wrestlemania weekend.
He’s set to appear at Gringo Loco’s “The Wrld on Lucha” card, a matinee show as part of GCW’s April 17 lineup at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Arez is no stranger to GCW, having worked over 60 matches for them since 2019. However, the upcoming booking is his first time wrestling for the brand since he made his debut in AEW this year as El Clon.
It seems as though the Mexico City-born 34-year-old will live a double life going forward, portraying Clon on AEW TV and continuing to wrestle as Arez on the independent scene. He’s also expected to appear as part of wXw’s 16 Carat Gold tournament in Germany later this year under the ring name.
It was confirmed last week that The Wrld on Lucha will also include NOAH talent Galeno Del Mal. The show will be part of a busy 13-show lineup presented by GCW this year in Vegas.
