AEW World Champion MJF is set to appear at an independent event promoted by Evil Uno next month.

Mystery Wrestling announced Monday that the champion will be part of its March 26 show in Edmonton, Alberta. The event takes place at the Midway Music Hall and will stream live on Twitch and YouTube.

Founded by AEW’s Evil Uno, the promotion relies on a concept where the match card and participants are generally not revealed prior to the show.

MJF has recently increased his schedule on the independent scene. In January, he defended the AEW World Championship at a Limitless Wrestling show in Maine, where he offered contracts to Alec Price and Jordan Oliver.

He is also scheduled to appear for House of Glory in New York on February 20.

The Edmonton date precedes a wider AEW tour of Canada in April. The company will hold television tapings in Winnipeg and Edmonton leading into the Dynasty pay-per-view in Vancouver on April 12.
