The family of WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn (Aja Smith) has been struck by the tragic loss of multiple family members in a fire.
LaShaunn shared the following on Thursday evening that she lost her grandmother, grandfather, an uncle, and a cousin in a house fire the previous night.

The Fox affiliate in Atlanta has additional information, including the heroic actions of several family members to re-enter the house and save others. It included 70-year old Willie Smith, who re-entered the house and never came out.
Crews arrived at the home following reports of people trapped inside. Firefighters located 43-year-old Joseph Thomas, known to loved ones as “Pac-Man,” and transported him to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Rescue teams were met with immediate reports of people trapped inside. While crews managed to pull one victim from the burning structure, that individual later died at Grady Memorial Hospital. Firefighters subsequently discovered three more victims inside the home.
A GoFundMe has been launched to support the family and includes additional information. One cousin survived the fire but lost everything and has five children ranging in ages from one to ten.
The family has set a goal of $90,000 and has raised nearly seventy-five percent of it.
