Shinjiro Otani will appear at this Wednesday’s Pro Wrestling NOAH event to address the audience.
Pro Wrestling NOAH put out a press release on Monday, stating that it would begin handling the management services for Otani with an appearance scheduled for Wednesday’s Legacy Rise event at Korakuen Hall:
PRO WRESTLING NOAH (operated by CyberFight Inc.) hereby announces that it has begun handling management services for Shinjiro Otani. NOAH will support Mr. Otani by distributing his messages to fans via official social media channels, promoting his charity activities, managing appearance requests, and overseeing image and rights management. Through these efforts, NOAH will work together with fans to support Mr. Otani’s ongoing activities. Regarding this matter, Mr. Otani is scheduled to provide an explanation and address members of the press and fans at the NOAH Korakuen Hall event to be held on Wednesday, February 11 (national holiday).
Otani sustained a cervical spine injury in April 2022 during a match in Tokyo and remains paralyzed from the neck down.
The former NJPW and Zero-One star is scheduled to appear before the opening match on Wednesday and will speak with members of the media.
Legacy Rise will stream on Wrestle Universe on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Japan), featuring Yoshiki Inamura defending the GHC heavyweight championship against Takashi Sugiura.
