For the first time in over a decade, Cleveland will be treated to some TNA Wrestling later this year.
TNA announced Friday that they will head to the Wolstein Center on April 11 for Rebellion, an annual part of the promotion’s pay-per-view schedule.
While TNA has made stops in other parts of Ohio in recent years, including tapings in Dayton and Columbus, the upcoming date is the company’s first time hitting up the city of Cleveland since a 2013 TV taping.
Last year’s Rebellion took place in Los Angeles, headlined by a title three-way between Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, and Frankie Kazarian.
Along with the new PPV date reveal, TNA announced a pair of upcoming TV taping dates. The brand will visit the Upstate Medical University Arena in Syracuse, New York for back-to-back nights of TV on April 14 and 15. Since both shows don’t fall on a Thursday night, the evening that AMC airs Impact, it seems as though none of the events will air live.
While New York is a frequent stop on TNA’s schedule, Syracuse is getting its first-ever TV event with the upcoming doubleheader.
A pre-sale for both events will begin on February 25 at 10 a.m. ET.
