A new trainee from NJPW’s Young Lion dojo will make his debut next month.

Taisei Nakahara, a 25-year-old wrestler from Tsukushino city in Fukuoka, will debut on the first night of New Japan Cup action next month. He’ll meet Tatsuya Matsumoto in a 10-minute time limit bout as part of the March 4 card at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

A description on the NJPW site says that Nakahara started training in NJPW following his college studies. The 182-pound talent has a background in high school wrestling, per NJPW.

NJPW’s new trainee will debut just after the departure of Katsuya Murashima and Shoma Kato, who will be travelling internationally on an excursion beginning in March. It’s expected that Kato will wrestle for CMLL in Mexico following this year’s Fantastica Mania tour in Japan, and Murashima will head to wXw in Germany.
