FTR attacked the brother of the Young Bucks after losing an eliminator match to The Rascalz to close out Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision from Oceanside, California.
The broadcast also featured two successful world title defenses. Claudio Castagnoli retained the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, while Jet Set Rodeo kept the AEW World Trios Championship.
Additionally, Thunder Rosa returned to the ring to defeat Julia Hart, prompting a post-match confrontation with Thekla.

Jet Set Rodeo retains Trios Titles
Jet Set Rodeo defended the AEW World Trios Championship against The Demand in the opening match. The challengers isolated Mike Bailey early before Hangman Page entered to clear the ring. All six men exchanged signature moves, culminating in Page hitting a Tombstone piledriver on Ricochet.
Jack Perry appeared on the stage, which distracted Ricochet from executing his Spirit Gun finisher. Page capitalized on the interference and hit the Buckshot Lariat to secure the victory.
FTR accepts challenge
The Rascalz encountered FTR in a smoke-filled room backstage. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood mocked the smoking habits of the duo. Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier challenged the champions to an eliminator match, which FTR accepted.
Young Bucks overcome The Swirl
The Young Bucks faced The Swirl in tag team action. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian isolated Matt Jackson for a prolonged period. Matt eventually delivered a double Northern Lights suplex and tagged Nick Jackson.
The Bucks executed a Doomsday Device that sent Johnson crashing onto Christian. They followed up with the BTE Trigger on Christian to win the match.
- AEW aired footage of MJF defending the World Championship against Zilla Fatu at a House of Glory event. Andrade El Idolo interfered during the contest. MJF confronted Andrade backstage after the match, exchanging insults over title opportunities.
Castagnoli defends CMLL Championship
Claudio Castagnoli defended the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship against Josh Alexander. Alexander attacked Castagnoli’s knee and applied an ankle lock to neutralize the champion’s power. Castagnoli powered out and executed a deadlift vertical suplex.
Lance Archer caused a distraction on the ring apron. Marina Shafir confronted Archer, allowing Castagnoli to hit the intruder with a big boot. Castagnoli then caught Alexander with a giant swing and a Neutralizer to retain the title.
- Megan Bayne defeated Becca in a short match. Bayne controlled the contest and won with a running Liger bomb.
- Tommaso Ciampa stated his intention to pursue the TNT Championship during a backstage interview. He noted that champion Kyle Fletcher is vacationing in Australia and promised to confront him upon his return.
Don Callis Family defeats Death Riders
The Don Callis Family faced The Death Riders in a trios contest. Wheeler Yuta wrestled wearing a beanie. Mark Davis grabbed a steel chair late in the match, but Shafir took the weapon away.
Yuta attempted a Cattle Mutilation submission on Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita blocked the hold and hit Yuta with a pump kick. He then executed the Raging Fire driver to pin Yuta.
Jon Moxley confronted Takeshita in the ring after the bell. The former champion hit Takeshita with a Paradigm Shift.
- Babes of Wrath addressed MegaBad in a backstage promo. Harley Cameron warned Penelope Ford, Megan Bayne, and Lena Kross that the champions will not back down.
Thunder Rosa returns
Thunder Rosa returned to action against Julia Hart. This marked Rosa’s first match after an eight-month absence. Hart targeted the neck and spine of Rosa throughout the contest.
Rosa blocked a moonsault attempt by raising her knees. She immediately delivered a Fire Thunder Driver to secure the win.
- Thekla appeared in the crowd after the match and mocked Rosa. Hart attempted a sneak attack on Rosa during the distraction. Kris Statlander ran down to the ring to save Rosa.
- Private Party hosted a backstage drinking segment with the Bang Bang Gang, Dalton Castle, and The Outrunners. Anthony Bowens cheered when the group noted the lack of women present.
- Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors confronted Tony Schiavone at the commentary desk. Kidd challenged Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin to future matches.
- Commentary announced that Swerve Strickland received a $100,000 fine and a suspension from Collision for attacking Kenny Omega on Dynamite.
The Rascalz earn title shot
FTR faced The Rascalz in an AEW World Tag Team Championship eliminator match. Harwood blocked a Hot Fire Flame attempt by raising his knees. Wheeler then attacked Myron Reed at ringside and attempted a piledriver on the floor.
The Young Bucks arrived to distract Wheeler. The Rascalz capitalized on the confusion and hit Harwood with the Hot Fire Flame for the victory.
- Gates of Agony attacked The Rascalz and The Young Bucks after the bell. FTR assaulted the family members of the Young Bucks at ringside. Stokely Hathaway threw powder in the face of Papa Buck.
- FTR dragged Malakai Jackson into the ring and delivered a spike piledriver. Ricochet blindsided Jack Perry when Perry attempted to make the save. The broadcast closed with the Young Bucks checking on their injured brother.
