The ROH World Television Champion is back.
Wrestling for the first time in over six months, Nick Wayne worked last night’s ROH tapings at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California, per numerous eyewitness reports.

Wayne defeated local California talent Lucas Riley in a Proving Ground match, reports from the event show.
The 20-year-old has been out of action since August, when a broken foot put him on the sidelines. Wayne was not only a frequent name in ROH at the time but was also a major midcard player in AEW as well, feuding with Christian Cage.
Had it not been for the injury, Wayne would’ve made his fourth-ever pay-per-view AEW appearance as part of last year’s Forbidden Door show in London, England.
Wayne has held ROH’s TV title since April, when he dethroned Komander. He has defended the belt five times since then, including in a four-way as part of last year’s Fyter Fest card.
