Fred Ottman, a.k.a. Typhoon, offered fans another health update.

The WWE Hall of Famer revealed earlier this month that he had spent about a month in a St. Petersburg hospital after his gallbladder “exploded.” He revealed that the explosion caused an infection, making him bedridden.

Ottman was released from this hospital and was using a walker while “learning how to walk again.”

The 69-year-old went in for surgery this week. He did not explain the procedure’s purpose, but he described it as “pretty tough.”

I’m home with my beautiful wife, Sheila, and I got home health care coming in and checking on me today and then will come the road to recovery, which ought to take a while I believe.

Ottman thanked the fans for their support and thanked those who sent in cards and letters, wishing him a speedy recovery.
