The schedule for this year’s NJPW Best of the Super Junior tournament has been revealed.

The brand’s top annual junior heavyweight tour will include 14 stops in total this year, beginning in mid-May and continuing through to early June.

After getting started with a stretch of events in Tokyo, BOSJ will head throughout Japan, including stops in Osaka, Kyoto, Shizuoka, and Toyama.

The final stretch will mainly be back in Tokyo, with back-to-back nights in Korakuen Hall, a quick trip to Gunma, then the grand finals at the Ota City General Gymnasium.

The participants in the tournament haven’t been revealed yet. It’s expected to be the first time NJPW presents a BOSJ since the exit of top junior heavyweight Hiromu Takahashi earlier this year. The four-time tournament winner had appeared in every BOSJ since 2017 except for 2019, which he missed due to injury.

It seems likely that the tournament will include TMDK’s Kosei Fujita, who won his first-ever BOSJ last summer.
