Johnny Consejo a.k.a. Johnny TV/John Hennigan had his head shaved after the main event of Friday’s match with Ángel de Oro.
CMLL’s headline attraction at Arena México on Friday featured a Hair vs. Hair stipulation as Consejo and de Oro wrestled for more than twenty-five minutes. The highlights included de Oro kicking out of Starship Pain and getting his knees up on a follow-up attempt. Consejo kicked de Oro low, but he recovered and crotched Consejo on the top rope and proceeded to hit a Destroyer, which was spectacular.

From there, de Oro connected with a Frog Splash to win the match, and Consejo was shaved bald.
It was really heated, and they did a great job with the near-falls and ambitious acrobatics throughout the match. Consejo sold the head shaving to its full extent, and it really added to the post-match.
Consejo will face Ángel de Oro and Esfinge in a three-way match tonight at Arena Coliseo with his new look.
Claudio Castagnoli retained the CMLL heavyweight title in the co-feature against Euforia and Akuma.
In a No. 1 Contender’s match, Persephone defeated Olimpia to set up a CMLL Women’s Championship match with Mercedes Moné next Friday at Arena México.
