NXT has booked three title matchups for its first road TV show of 2026.
Next Tuesday’s episode of TV, live from the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas, has a trio of championship bouts along with an appearance from the main roster’s El Grande Americano, the beginning of a tag tournament, and more. Here’s a rundown of everything that was announced.
The biggest matchup of the night will see Jacy Jayne defend her NXT Women’s Championship in a triple threat match featuring Zaria and Sol Ruca.
Zaria and Ruca both had title opportunities recently, but neither bout ended in a fair way. Ruca was attacked by her former teammate Zaria just moments before she faced Jayne, causing her to lose. In Zaria’s case, a follow-up attack from Ruca caused her title shot to end in a no contest. After those results, it was booked that they will both get one final opportunity at Jayne as part of a three-way next week.
Lower on the card, Texas’ own Tatum Paxley will defend her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Izzi Dame in a steel cage match. Dame demanded a rematch from Paxley this week, just days after getting dethroned at Vengeance Day. The upcoming match will be the fourth and potentially final chapter in their feud, which started in late 2025 after Paxley was ousted from The Culling.
The third title bout will see Fallon Henley defend her women’s Speed title against Wren Sinclair, who earned the title opportunity by beating Thea Hail and Nikkita Lyons in a four-woman bracket. The bout will be the first time Henley is putting her title on the line since becoming champ in November.
A four-team tournament will begin next week, determining who will challenge NXT Tag Team Champions The Vanity Project at Stand & Deliver next month. The first of two semi-final matchups will go down in seven days, when former tag champs Hank & Tank take on Birthright. It’s unclear which of the four men from Birthright will compete in the bout – will the group’s newest member, Charlie Dempsey, step up?
And speaking of The Vanity Project, the trio will be in tag action against El Grande Americano and his two henchmen, Rayo and Bravo.
It was also revealed that next week’s show will be “Booker T Appreciation Night,” giving the NXT commentator and wrestling star his flowers while in his hometown.
