The Hardys vs. Sinner & Saint
TNA Thursday Night Impact kicked off with The Hardys facing Sinner & Saint in a non-title match. Sinner & Saint controlled the beginning of the match, and Jeff Hardy sold a tweak to his knee. Icarus knocked Jeff off the top rope, again aiming for his knee. Then out of nowhere, Jeff applied his Spinal Destination submission, and Icarus tapped out. After the match, Jeff hit a Swanton Bomb to “send a message to The System” as the announce team declared. The two teams then shook hands, which made no sense.

The Elegance Brand cut a backstage promo calling ODB a “farm animal” and said that Mickie James was riding their coattails. They announced that Mr. Elegance’s in-ring debut will be next week. Goldy Locks interrupted and said she didn’t like The Elegance Brand’s disrespect. Goldy Locks said she might make a call and bring back some old friends.

Indi Hartwell “In Action”
Next, Indi Hartwell squared off with Kelsey Heather. Heather got some offense in, but then missed a moonsault off the ropes, and Hartwell hit the Hurts Donut for the win in under three minutes. The ring here was squeaking with every move here which was very strange. Hartwell cut a post-match promo demanding a title shot from Arianna Grace. Grace then appeared on the ramp and laughed in Hartwell’s face, telling her to get in line. Hartwell said to add her to the long list of Grace’s upcoming challengers.

Backstage, The Hardys thanked The Righteous for helping them with The System last week. The Righteous said they’d be there for them again when the Nemeths entered, saying they were coming for the tag titles, pointing out that Ryan pinned Jeff not that long ago. The audio was super distracting during this segment as they ran a loop of the same five seconds of audience screaming in the background.

Trey Miguel, Rich Swann, & BDE vs. Order 4
Next, Trey Miguel teamed with Rich Swann & BDE to take on Order 4, who debuted a new theme. The match began with all six man fighting in the ring before the bell. Order 4 quickly gained control, hitting Trey Miguel with The Green Edge on the apron. The face team finally recovered and began mounting a comeback after a commercial break. Swann hit a massive Frog Splash on Ali for a nearfall. Tasha Steelz tried to interfere, but Jada Stone appeared, pulling her off the apron, and the two brawled into the crowd. Things then went into hyperdrive with moves being hit by all competitors nonstop. Trey Miguel hit Lightning Spiral to pick up the win for his team. Mustafa Ali carefully handed Miguel the International Championship after the match.

Backstage, Santana approached Daria Rae, and Rae told him that if he touched Steve Maclin, he would be stripped of his title. Santino Marella appeared, saying that if Maclin touched Santana, he would be fired and removed from the TNA archives. Maclin then entered, getting into Santana’s face, but walked off after saying hello.
Elsewhere backstage, Arianna Grace complained about everyone calling her out for title shots. Grace and Stacks coordinated an attack on Hartwell, with Grace hitting Hartwell with the title somewhere on her leg, but the camera didn’t catch it.

Steve Maclin Speaks
Steve Maclin was out to the ring next, with TNA Champion Santana watching from the crowd. Maclin insulted the crowd, Tom Hannifan, and Santana with faux apologies for his prior actions. He claimed that he used Santana to bring him back, and Santana uses his addiction to make the crowd feel sympathy for him. Maclin said that Santana was lucky to have had a life with his Dad, even though his Dad was gone now, because he didn’t remember what his Dad’s voice sounded like.

AJ Francis vs. Elijah
Some of the cast of Tulsa King were shown before the next match, which saw AJ Francis facing off with Elijah. Frankie Kazarian was a guest at the announce desk for this one. Francis dominated early on, but Elijah was able to take control after an Alabama Slam. Elijah then hit a Drifter Destroyer to Francis and jumped out of the ring, throwing a drink on Kazarian. Kazarian jumped up and distracted Elijah, allowing Francis to hit the Down Payment for the win. The two heels started a beatdown on Elijah when Hometown Man made the save.

Ricky Sosa Debut
Next was the TNA debut of Rick Sosa, taking on Brad Attitude. Sosa slipped on the top rope early in the match, landing awkwardly on his head as Attitude took control. He recovered, hitting a moonsault followed by a dive to the outside onto Attitude. Sosa caught Attitude in mid-air and turned it into a Blue Thunderbomb for the win.
