NXT fell to its lowest audience of the year following the Vengeance Day event, although it had to contend with a pre-emption.
The March 10 episode of NXT averaged 541,000 viewers and 109,000 viewers (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.
It was noted by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that CW pre-empted the show in the Chicago market due to weather coverage in the area, which would have an impact on NXT’s viewership.
The show dropped by ten percent in overall viewership and was down by eleven percent in the 18-49 audience.
Adults 18-34 registered a 0.05, which was the same as last week, while adults 25-54 had a drop from 0.12 to 0.11.
NXT ranked last among broadcast networks in prime time on Tuesday in the key demographic. Competition included the NBA on NBC.
Tuesday’s episode was headlined by Ethan Page & Ricky Saints defeating Joe Hendry & Myles Borne.
