New Japan releases full lineup for Friday’s New Japan Cup card feat. semi-finals

The New Japan Cup is down to its final four, with the semi-finals set for Friday as the promotion has released the full lineup for the penultimate show.

Nagaoka will host the two semi-final contests to determine who advances to Saturday’s final for the chance to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

Yuya Uemura and Oleg Boltin will face off on one side of the bracket, and Shota Umino meets Callum Newman.

Umino went to the final of last year’s tournament and lost to David Finlay.

The full lineup has been released for Friday’s show, which streams at 4 a.m. ET on New Japan World.

  • New Japan Cup – Semi-final: Yuya Uemura vs. Oleg Boltin
