They discuss Hogan’s rise in popularity before WWF, the audience anticipation for his long-awaited victory over Bockwinkel, and why that moment ultimately never came. They also explore the state of the AWA prior to WWF’s national expansion, which soon drew away much of the talent featured on this show, including Hogan, Mean Gene Okerlund, Jesse Ventura, Rick Martel, and Wendi Richter.
