It’s AEW’s third time running the massive stadium with shows in 2023 & 2024. Their last trip to Wembley finished with 53,393 tickets distributed and a turnstile count of 46,476, according to Wrestlenomics. The company stated that the second event at Wembley drew over 50,000 paid.
WrestleTix noted that the “first count” of tickets for the 2024 show was 33,923, so the demand was lower, at least for the on-sale.
The on-sale received a major boost with the early return of Will Ospreay, who many expect to be the centerpiece of the event. The U.K. born star underwent double fusion surgery on his neck last September and revealed he was cleared last month and wrestled his first match back on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
