Ted DiBiase Jr. broke a multi-year social media hiatus to release a statement.

The former WWE superstar was found not guilty in a Mississippi welfare fraud case. The jury found the 43-year-old not guilty on the thirteen counts. It included six counts of wire fraud, four counts of money laundering, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funding and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and theft concerning federal funds.

“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.”
Romans 12:19

All Glory to God! 🙌🏼

I want to thank Scott Gilbert, Sidney Lampton Morris, and Eric Herschman for believing the truth and fighting for justice 🙏🏼

Dibiase was accused by the federal prosecutors of misappropriating over a million dollars of funds designated for families in need and low-income citizens of the state. The fraud was connected to the $77 million in federal funds, including the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and Emergency Food Assistance Programs.

He faced accusations of using money from those funds to buy a truck, a boat, take a trip to Disney and buy a lakeside home worth $1.5 million.

DiBiase worked for WWE from 2007 until 2013 and left when his contract expired. He has not wrestled since 2017.
