Roderick Strong joins The Conglomeration, The Dogs issue challenge
Something to mention is that they did an audio insert so Tony Schiavone could acknowledge the passing of Dennis Condrey, who died several days after this was taped, and it was a nice touch that they went to that length.
The opening match saw Roderick Strong & Orange Cassidy defeat Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson after an End of Heartache by Strong on Johnson as he threw Cassidy on top for the cover.
Most of the match saw the heels work on Cassidy and involved interference by Blake Christian. Strong received the hot tag and had a great comeback, including an Angle Slam on Johnson.
The end saw Cassidy nail Christian with an Orange Punch on the apron and take out Lethal with a dive while Strong handled Johnson with the End of Heartache, leading to the victory.
Strong got the microphone and owed Cassidy an explanation, stating he hung around the Conglomeration due to Kyle O’Reilly, and when he left, he didn’t know what he was still there. He had to find something within himself and declared that he was now part of the group. None of this addressed his turning on Cassidy and walking out of their match last month. I mean, he could have said David Finlay seemed to be WWE-bound, and AEW landed him, so it’s a numbers game, and Strong is needed on the babyface side, but maybe that was the implication.
It’s official! @RoderickStrong finally declares that he is a part of The Conglomeration, but The Dogs aren’t done with him and @OrangeCassidy just yet!

Clark Connors and David Finlay appeared on the screen and aren’t done with them despite the loss at Revolution. Finlay said, “The closer we are to death, the more we feel alive.” He should have gotten into a time machine and signed with WCW. They issued a challenge for a tag match next week.
The match was added to Dynamite this Wednesday in St. Paul.
Divine Domination
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross destroyed Alex Gracia & Vipress in short order.
Vipress put her hair up, and Nigel McGuinness could not resist a “hair up and square up” reference.
Gracia was tossed out of the ring as Bayne & Kross hit a double choke slam, let’s go with High Times for Kronik’s sake, and Bayne pinned Vipress.
“Lio has been doing a lot of talking to himself”
That was Tony Schiavone’s observation of Lio Rush’s new character, which is part Gollum and part exorcism candidate.
On all fours, @IAmLioRush builds up speed to drive @MrTommasoCiampa into the announce desk!

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Rush in a very good match. Rush got to showcase the character a lot in this match, and he’s fully engaged. Rush has always been a super talent, and I’ve always felt he has a much higher ceiling, but he has had many setbacks.
Rush needed three attempts before finally hitting the rebound stunner. Ciampa bit Rush’s hand, so Rush did the same, and referee Rick Knox started a five-count to administer the allowable biting length.
Ciampa sent Rush flying into the corner and hit Project Ciampa, and Rush kicked out. He lowered the knee pad and connected with the strike to win.
Trios Champions retain, Josh Alexander injured in the main event
The main event saw Místico, Kevin Knight & Speedball Mike Bailey make their first title defense by beating the Don Callis Family reps Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita & El Clon.
Unfortunately, the news from Wednesday’s taping overshadowed the match: Alexander injured his knee midway through, quickly tagged out, and was never seen again. Bailey attempted a standing moonsault into the double knees, which Alexander blocked by getting his knees up and immediately favored his right knee and crawled to the corner to tag out.
The injury was never acknowledged on commentary, nor was Alexander’s disappearance for half of the match.
Místico used multiple springboards, and the audience was into the match. Místico connected with a springboard crossbody and hit La Mistica on El Clon for the submission.
