Brock Lesnar could only be in WWE for a limited run based on his recent comments.
Lesnar is scheduled to face Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, with a limited number of dates to build that match. The 48-year-old’s contract details aren’t clear, but he might have disclosed how long his WWE run will be in an appearance on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast.
“I went back to work there so I could feed my kids. You guys should see my grocery bill,” Lesnar said. “I had left the company years ago, and I’m grateful that I’m back for a short time here, so I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that I’ve had in my life.”
Lesnar also spoke about why he thinks the current WWE atmosphere is “soft” and navigating youth hockey culture in Calgary with his kids.
The WWE star returned to the company last year at the end of SummerSlam to set up a match against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. It was Lesnar’s first time back in WWE since 2023, and he was named in Janel Grant’s amended lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. Lesnar is not named as a defendant, but it is alleged that McMahon offered Grant up to him for sex. She alleges that she was supposed to participate in a sexual encounter with Lesnar, but that it never occurred.
