Gable Steveson will make his Real American Freestyle debut in May after signing a multi-match deal with the group.

Ariel Helwani broke the news that Steveson has signed with the RAF and will debut on May 30 in Dallas, Texas, although no opponent has been announced yet.

Steveson won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling in 2021 at the Tokyo Olympics before signing with WWE. He reported to NXT and was cut in early 2024.

He embarked on an MMA career, debuting last year, has a 3-0 professional record, and competed for Dirty Boxing last October.

The wrestler has operated with a cloud over his career after a 2019 incident where he was accused of sexual assault while attending the University of Minnesota. He and a teammate were suspended from activities while the case was ongoing, and it was ruled that charges would be pressed due to “inadequate evidence”. During that time, there was a law in Minnesota that restricted sexual assault charges when the victim was intoxicated – a loophole that has since been changed in the state.

RAF 9 will stream live on FOX Nation from Dallas, Texas.
