The second-annual CMLL vs. MLW card has been made official.

American independent brand MLW will head to Arena Mexico in Mexico City for a lineup which puts their best names against CMLL’s most prominent stars. The event is part of the two promotions’ year-round partnership, which includes talent sharing and other co-promotional events.

The first-ever CMLL vs. MLW show was held last year in Mexico. The inaugural lineup was headlined by a 19-minute clash, which saw Mistico overcome KUSHIDA. Earlier matches on the show included Ultimo Guerrero winning the MLW National Openweight Championship, and Paul London wrestling to a 10-minute draw against Neon.

CMLL and MLW have also co-promoted events stateside. The third-ever Azteca Lucha card is scheduled to take place later this year in Illinois, with CMLL talents expected to appear on the show.

The upcoming Arena Mexico card was announced during Wednesday night’s CMLL Informa broadcast. Other major reveals on the show included Magnus announcing that he is fully rebranding himself and joining the Black Tiger lineage, and that AEW’s Thunder Rosa will make her second-ever CMLL appearance as part of an April 4th card.
