NXT maintains steady audience without March Madness competition

NXT demonstrated its normal viewership pattern this past Tuesday without March Madness competition.

The March 24 edition averaged 581,000 viewers and 109,000 viewers (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The audience dropped slightly from last week’s average of 588,000 viewers, although the March 17 episode was pre-empted in Chicago. The 18-49 demo grew from 95,000 viewers to 109,000 this week.

Adults 18-34 doubled from 0.02 to 0.04, and 25-54 fell from 0.11 to 0.10.

NXT aired against the Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 1,955,000 viewers and 0.37 in the demo, which led all of broadcast on Tuesday night.

The brand goes on the road next Tuesday for the Roadblock special at the Infosys Theatre at Madison Square Garden, followed by Stand and Deliver in St. Louis on April 4.
