Bill Goldberg is still upset about the treatment he received at his retirement match last summer on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

At a meet-and-greet, a fan filming the interaction told him that he was pissed at the way WWE cut off his microphone at the end of the show. Goldberg, “Yeah, well, what did you think it did for me? It didn’t make me very happy either. It shows what disrespect they have.”

The fan proceeded to suspect Paul Levesque of making that call, and Goldberg replied, “Probably,” and said “100%” when the fan called Levesque “a jackass”.

Goldberg lost to Gunther in his retirement match on July 12 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The show was broadcast on NBC and had the hard out, and therefore, Goldberg’s speech was limited when they came back from the final commercial break.

The former WWE & WCW champion spoke about his unhappiness with his treatment on the Ariel Helwani Show and said, “Let’s just say I’m pissed off with the way I went out.”
