A rare Thursday night head-to-head battle occurred last week with AEW Collision airing outside its regular night against TNA’s Thursday Night Impact.
The viewership figures saw Impact struck with a decrease in viewership, averaging 200,000 viewers and 68,000 viewers (0.05) in the 18-49 demographic on AMC. It was a decline from the previous week’s average of 256,000 viewers and Impact’s lowest number since January 22, its second week on the network.
Despite the viewership decline, Impact drew the same audience in the 18-49 demographic from the week prior. Adults 18-34 registered an increase from 0.03 to 0.04, and adults 25-54 were even at 0.06.
It was a taped show from the prior weekend’s tapings in New Orleans, Louisiana.
AEW Collision aired from 8-10 p.m. ET on TNT and against the first hour of Impact. On its irregular night, the show averaged 373,000 viewers and 95,000 viewers (0.07) in the 18-49 demographic.
It was Collison’s lowest viewership since March 7 and was coming off the previous weekend’s episodes, which had the NCAA men’s basketball tournament as a lead-in on March 21 & March 22.
Collison registered a 0.06 with adults 18-34 (tied for eighth among cable originals on Thursday) and 0.10 with adults 25-54.
The cable rankings were led by Fox News with Gutfeld! and Jesse Watters Primetime, after the firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi.
