La Catalina has left CMLL, with the promotion confirming her exit on Tuesday.
The statement from CMLL was issued in Spanish and reads as follows when translated:
CMLL announces that, effective April 1, 2026, La Catalina is no longer part of the CMLL Amazonas roster. This follows the termination of her contract, which was not renewed by the sole and express decision of the wrestler herself, who unequivocally stated and formalized her desire not to continue the relationship, as it was solely in her best interest. CMLL wishes her success in her future endeavors. For institutional purposes, this will be the only statement issued on this matter.
Catalina Aurora García Corrial, 25, began wrestling over a decade ago and joined WWE in 2019 as “Carolina” and was renamed “Catalina” the next year. After a visa expiration, she left the company in 2021.
She joined CMLL three years ago and became a signature performer in its women’s division. Last year, she wrestled Mercedes Moné at the Fantatica Mania Mexico show in June. She also wrestled multiple matches for Ring of Honor as part of CMLL’s working agreement with AEW.
La Catalina last wrestled on March 31 at Arena Coliseo.
