Brody King took to social media to address his absence from this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan announced on social media that Bandido would take King’s place in a trios match with Jungle Jack Perry and Darby Allin against the Don Callis Family. The AEW President and CEO cited “personal reasons” in his message.

King revealed on social media that he was attending the funeral of guitarist and co-founder of hardcore metal band Harm’s Way, Bo Lueders, who died earlier this month at 38.

I promise I would much rather be at Dynamite than having to attend my friends funeral. Thank you to Bandido for being the best partner and stepping up in my absence and thank you to Tony for giving me the ability to be with my friends and family at this time. #Boluedersforver
