AEW Dynamite’s “go home” episode before Dynasty saw a drop off in viewership while ranking sixth among cable programs on Wednesday night.
The April 8 edition from Edmonton averaged 654,000 viewers and 191,000 viewers (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS and doesn’t include HBO Max viewership.
The show fell by ten percent in viewership and was down by six percent in the key demographic. It was Dynamite’s lowest 18-49 audience since March 11 (the “go home” show before Revolution).
It was sixth among cable programs on Wednesday behind the NBA doubleheader on ESPN, and three programs on Fox News. Wednesday nights have been dominated by the 50th season of “Survivor”, which averaged nearly five million viewers and 0.92 in 18-49.
Dynamite’s rating among adults 18-34 stayed at 0.12, while adults 25-54 fell from 0.22 to 0.20.
The show featured a lengthy overrun and aired until 10:26 p.m. ET. The overrun included the ending of the Death Riders vs. United Empire, and a closing segment with Kenny Omega & MJF.
