The Cope is Real
AEW Collision from Everett kicked off with Adam Copeland (complete with a crazy-looking black eye) cutting an in-ring promo after he and Christian Cage failed to capture the AEW tag team titles this past weekend at Dynasty. Copeland said that Cage was not there as he was getting an MRI to see if his arm was broken. He noted that FTR said on Dynamite that they would not get another title shot, and Copeland said he had an idea that he would reveal later. Copeland said they weren’t done with FTR and would end it. This brought out FTR, and Copeland was jumped from behind by Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero. The four beat down Copeland, and The Young Bucks made the save.
FTR enlisted the help of @trentylocks + @azucarroc to beat down @RatedRCope, but he has backup in the @YoungBucks!

Young Bucks vs. The Rascalz
With the Bucks already in the ring, the first match of the evening was them taking on the Rascalz. This was Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz with Dezmond Xavier in their corner, having lost to Tommaso Ciampa on Dynamite the night prior. The Rascalz seemed to have the Young Bucks’ number early in the match, hitting them with high spots after high spots and answering Matt & Nick’s offensive attempts. After a commercial break, Nick made the hot tag to Matt and took it to Dez and Myron, bringing the crowd to its feet. Myron Reed then hit an insane move that he calls the Burnout, essentially a diving cutter to the outside.
The Rascalz are giving the @YoungBucks ALL of the smoke!

After a bunch of big spots back and forth, the Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver and got the pinfall. After the match, David Finlay and Clark Connors attacked the Bucks and the Rascalz, leaving them all lying. Finlay got on the mic and said they might be one man down, but their mission stays the same: “We want bodies, and we want gold.”
"The numbers may change, but the mission stays the same!"
The Dogs have descended to send a violent message to the @YoungBucks, The Rascalz and the ENTIRE tag team division!

Trios Eliminator Match
Next up was The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Orange Cassidy taking on Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson). Early in the match, Cassidy squared off with Christian and put Christian’s hands into his pockets after a fun exchange.

Jay Lethal then took one of the Trios titles and hit O’Reilly in the knee behind the referee’s back. After an ad break, Cassidy made a “lukewarm tag” to Roderick Strong, who cleaned house, using Cassidy’s body to do so. Christian and Cassidy then exchanged apathetic blows, eventually leading to all six men going at it in the ring. The finish saw O’Reilly trap Johnson in an Ankle Lock as Strong and Cassidy fended off his partners, leading to the tapout.
.@_BlakeChristian is playing some mind games of his own with @OrangeCassidy!

Hook was approached backstage by Anthony Bowens, who asked if he was in The Opps. Hook said he would tell him next week because he’s the boss and what he says goes. For some reason, Hook kept talking to Shibata behind the camera about a coffee shop unlike anything he’d ever seen.
“Am I in The Opps, or am I out?”@Bowens_Official needs an answer from @730hook!

Stalander & Shida “In Action”
The next match saw Kris Statlander team up with Hikaru Shida again to take on Big Anne and Danika Della Rouge. Shida had the match won, but instead of hitting the Katana, she tagged Stat in so she could finish things off with Thursday Night Fever.
Now THAT'S teamwork! @ShidaHikaru gives @CallMeKrisStat the final blow!

Continental Championship Eliminator
Next was the return of Nick Wayne to take on Jon Moxley in a Continental Championship Eliminator match. This was another example of a unique heel/face dynamic in AEW, as Nick Wayne seemed to be continuing his heel character, even though Moxley was a heel as well. Wayne cockily taunted Moxley until finally Mox shook his hand and pulled him in for a piledriver.
AEW Continental Champion @JonMoxley needed a second to figure out how to respond to @TheNickWayne's blatant disrespect!

After a commercial, Moxley was dominating Wayne, who was screaming in pain. It was announced that ten minutes had passed and only ten more remained as Wayne attempted to mount a comeback. Wayne then hit a moonsault onto Moxley on the outside, seemingly nailing Mox in the back of the head with his knee. The match went on, and Nick Wayne managed to bust Mox open hardway right next to his right eye. Five minutes were left when Mox hit the Death Rider from out of nowhere, picking up the win. 15:02 was on my stopwatch, but the broadcast seemed to have about 20 extra seconds.
.@TheNickWayne has busted @JonMoxley wide open!
