WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is reportedly not cleared to compete at WrestleMania 42 this weekend due to injury.
PWInsider reports that medical staff did not clear Bella for her scheduled Women’s Tag Team Championship match. She suffered an ankle injury during the March 27 episode of SmackDown.
This could remove both Nikki and her twin sister, Brie, from Saturday’s challenge against Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The fatal four-way also features Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, alongside Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
The Bella Twins received their WWE Hall of Fame inductions as part of the 2020 class. They have never captured the Women’s Tag Team titles, which WWE introduced in 2019 following their initial full-time run. Securing the belts remains a major goal for the sisters before their current contracts expire in 2027.
