Sareee to miss one month of action due to “neck maintenance”

Independent female star Sareee is taking time off due to injury.

Sareee, easily one of the top performers in the world, has announced she will be sidelined for approximately one month as she addresses a neck issue:

As announced, I will be taking approximately one month off for neck maintenance. Having to miss matches that were already scheduled, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and worry this causes to all the fans and organizations involved. Honestly, it was a decision that took a lot of courage. But I was more afraid of not being able to step into the ring anymore. I made this decision so that I can continue fighting as a professional wrestler from here on out! Please give me just a little time!!

Since leaving WWE, Sareee has produced many of her own events and held titles for Marigold, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Marvelous, and Sukeban.

The news was shared after Tuesday’s Marvelous event at Shib-Kiba 1st Ring, where Sareee teamed with Mio Momono & Takumi Iroha and were defeated by Jessy Jackson, Masha Slamovich & Johnnie Robbie. Last week, she challenged Iroha for the AAAW Championship at Marvelous’ tenth anniversary show in Yokohama.
