Robbie X has defeated Titán to break the A Block leader’s perfect run at NJPW Best of the Super Juniors.

The tournament’s seventh night took place before 767 fans earlier on Sunday. Kyoto’s KBS Hall hosted the event.

Jun Kasai defeated Nick Wayne in the main event to reach eight points. The hardcore veteran utilized his signature wooden skewers during the contest, eventually securing the victory with a Cross-Arm Stimulation.

Wayne showed strong resilience during the match. He executed a frog splash that drove Kasai through a ringside table. A Spanish Fly also earned Wayne a near-fall.

In the semi-main event, Robbie X halted Titán’s 5-0 tournament streak. The Unbound Co. member survived a top-rope double stomp. He then countered a corner attack to hit the X Xpress for the win.

Earlier, Kosei Fujita defeated Ryusuke Taguchi via a cradle while holding the tights. The competitors had agreed the loser would receive a center-parted haircut. Taguchi must now visit the stylist following the loss.

Master Wato moved into a tie for second place with eight points. He defeated Valiente Jr. with a German suplex hold. Francesco Akira kept Daiki Nagai winless by securing a victory with his Fireball knee strike.

The tournament resumes on Wednesday in Numazu with a focus on B Block matches.
