Steve Maclin has exited TNA Wrestling after requesting his release from the company.

TNA confirmed Sunday that it had “come to terms on the release of Steve Maclin and Myla Grace, effective immediately,” adding that it wished both wrestlers the best in their future endeavors.

Fightful first reported the departures, with Sean Ross Sapp posting that Maclin had been granted his release from TNA.

Maclin later confirmed that he had asked to leave the promotion:

Last week I requested my release from TNA. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything I’ve done over the last 5 years and I’ll always be thankful for my time there. But now, it’s time to STACK BODIES. See you soon

Maclin had been with TNA since 2021. Before joining the company, he wrestled for WWE as Steve Cutler and was part of The Forgotten Sons with Wesley Blake and Jaxson Ryker.

During his TNA run, Maclin won the Impact World Championship by defeating KUSHIDA at Rebellion in April 2023.

His final TNA match came at the May 15 tapings at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, where he lost to TNA World Champion Mike Santana.

That match followed a disrupted world title program earlier in the year. At Sacrifice on March 27, Maclin appeared to be knocked out by a superkick early in his match with Santana, leading to the match being stopped after two minutes and 18 seconds. It was later stated that Maclin had not suffered a concussion.

Myla Grace’s exit was also confirmed in TNA’s Sunday statement. Fightful had previously reported that she had been granted her release.
