Stardom has announced excursions for four talents this summer and thus, will not participate in the promotion’s 5 Star Grand Prix.
At Tuesday’s press conference, President Taro Okada stated that Syuri, Ranna Yagami, Hazuki, and Fuwa-chan will not participate in this year’s tournament as the four head on excursions. No specific destinations were revealed for any of the talents.

Hazuki is currently part of AEW’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, where she advanced to the semi-final after beating Persephone this past Saturday on Collision. Hazuki is scheduled to face Mercedes Moné in the next round.
Former World of Stardom champion, Syuri, debuted at AEW’s All In Texas event last July in the Casino Gauntlet match. She is a former IWGP Women’s Champion, losing the title to Alex Windsor this past March at EVE’s Wrestle Queendom VIII show.
Orange Crush’s PRODUCE has also announced a multi-show deal to use Stardom talents on its July 26 and August 3 events, but did not state any names yet.
