Just days after capturing STARDOM’s top title, Suzu Suzuki has called for a high-stakes showdown.
Suzuki, who won the World of STARDOM Championship as part of Saturday’s The Conversion pay-per-view event, called out Utami Hayashishita for a title bout.
The newly-crowned champ appeared at a press conference on Monday, where she confronted the recently-returned Hayashishita for a title bout as part of STARDOM’s June 30 show in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan.
Suzu Suzuki nominated Utami Hayashishita as the next challenger to her World of STARDOM Championship.

Suzuki scored a shock win last weekend, dethroning Sayaka Kurara to capture STARDOM’s top title. Many expected that she would go into this year’s 5STAR Grand Prix as the defending champ, although an upcoming showdown against Hayashishita proves that might not be the case.
Hayashishita returned to STARDOM a month back, showing up again after a brief stint in upstart Joshi brand MARIGOLD. The upcoming match will see her attempt to become a two-time World of STARDOM Champion, something just three women have achieved in the promotion’s history (Tam Nakano, Mayu Iwatani and Io Shirai).
