Trey Miguel says he has just been cleared to return after suffering a knee injury earlier this year.

Brandon Carr of ClickOnDetroit has a story on former NHL player Darren McCarty opening a wrestling academy in the city, with the TNA star working as a beginner-level coach.

Miguel sustained a broken kneecap and has been out of action since April, when he lost the TNA International title to Mustafa Ali at the Rebellion pay-per-view.

“I’ve been out for four months because of it. I was cleared yesterday (Wednesday).”

The Grind Time Wrestling Academy opened on Thursday at the Brewster Wheeler Recreation Center in Detroit.
