Welcome to the 2026 POST Wrestling G1 Contest! Good luck to everyone who entered as we embark upon wrestling’s most physically demanding tournament.
There is a new dimension to the contest this year. As in prior years, Randobot has returned. Randobot’s guesses are true random predictions. I physically rolled a die for each of the block matches and recorded which result Randobot predicts.
In addition to Randobot, I prompted three different AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity) to predict the results of the tournament. You will see their results below as “AI – ” and then the name of the platform. It will be interesting to see how well these language models predict the results of the G1 as compared to pure randomness and human intelligence.
