New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns emerged from Danhausen’s “cloning machine” to help him defeat JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Before the match, a “WWE Studioshausen” video package titled The Cursefather aired. It recapped Danhausen’s issues with Judgment Day and presented him as a key figure in the Knicks’ championship season.

Mysterio carried the custom Knicks jersey that Judgment Day had taken after destroying Danhausen’s laboratory.

Danhausen tried to curse McDonagh as soon as the bell rang, but McDonagh escaped to the floor. Mysterio repeatedly interfered from ringside and used the stolen jersey to wipe his shoes before McDonagh later used it to further taunt Danhausen by pretending to wipe his backside.

The contest shifted fully into a spectacle-heavy closing sequence when three “Minihausens” appeared and attacked McDonagh and Mysterio. Judgment Day eventually fought them off and set up a table inside the ring.

Danhausen then placed a stuffed black cat into his cloning machine. The device opened moments later to reveal Towns, whose initials provided the payoff to the setup from SmackDown.

Towns entered the ring and chokeslammed McDonagh before driving Mysterio through the table with another chokeslam. He then joined Danhausen in cursing McDonagh.

Danhausen followed with the Danhausen Death Drop and scored the pin.
