Myles Borne will put his title up for grabs next week.
A July 28 episode of NXT TV from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, will see Myles Borne defend his North American Championship against roster newcomer Kam Hendrix.
Borne said he would defend his North American title next week under the condition that he would be granted a future tag title opportunity alongside Tavion Heights. Hendrix, who has been out of the ring for the past month, jumped at the opportunity of potentially securing his first-ever NXT title in the upcoming appearance.
It was also revealed that Shiloh Hill and Tristan Angels will meet in a rematch as part of next week’s show. Hill and Angels have been feuding for weeks, competing in a beauty pageant and facing off as part of Great American Bash earlier this month. Despite losing at the Premium Live Event (PLE), Angels has continued to provoke Hill and has caused another meeting between them to be scheduled for next Tuesday.
The Culling’s Izzi Dame will also go head-to-head with Lizzy Rain.
Rain made an appearance on this week’s NXT, attacking Dame at ringside and preventing her from continuing to be a distraction in the match between Niko Vance and Shawn Spears. Following that attack, they’ll square off one-on-one for the first time ever next week.
Here’s a look at next week’s show thus far:
- Shiloh Hill vs. Tristan Angels
- Lizzy Rain vs. Izzi Dame
- Myles Borne vs. Kam Hendrix (NXT North American Championship)
