Chelsea Green has confirmed she sustained an injury on Friday Night SmackDown following an initial report from Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer site.
The new interim women’s champion posted on Instagram that she has suffered a broken orbital bone around her right eye following Friday’s match. She spoke about the injury:
I have no idea what that means for me. Usually, you guys have seen me, like, play into every single injury, but this feels different. Obviously, this feels very different. It feels frustrating. I’m upset. I feel, like, if I didn’t have bad luck, I would have no luck at all. So, I just need to take a little bit more time to process and to heal from the head trauma that is going on right now. We’ll see what happens. We’re just going to take it day by day.
Green was teaming up with Tiffany Stratton against Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid when she injured herself.
