Will Ospreay reveals Tony Khan paid for neck surgery: “It costs more than my house in England”

AEW released a new docuseries that chronicled Will Ospreay’s journey to All In: London, and fans received insight into Ospreay’s neck surgery.

Ospreay underwent double fusion surgery on Sept. 17, 2025, and the first part of the docuseries, titled “REBUILD DESTROY,” showed Ospreay’s and his wife and fellow AEW wrestler Alex Windsor’s mindset before the surgery.

On the day of the surgery, Ospreay revealed that AEW founder and President Tony Khan paid for the surgery.

Tony’s paying for the entire thing, which is like crazy. I saw that bill. Oh my god, man. It cost more than my house in England. If you pay for that, for my health, I’ll be a little soldier for him for the rest of my life.

The first episode ended with the continued focus on Ospreay and Windsor’s relationship.

Ospreay would be cleared in February this year, and the focus for everyone involved was to get him healthy for the presumed All In: London main event between Ospreay and Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.
