We now know who will make the trip over to Mexico City for the first-ever Lucha Kingdom event.
CMLL will collaborate with long-time partners NJPW and STARDOM for a special Arena Mexico event on November 16. During Wednesday night’s episode of Informa, CMLL’s weekly talk show, it was revealed which wrestlers from Japan will be appearing on the show.
11 names from NJPW were confirmed, including reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji. However, he could drop his title before then, as he’s expected to defend it in October against G1 winner Ryohei Oiwa.
Other NJPW representatives include Zack Sabre Jr., Shota Umino, El Desperado, Taiji Ishimori, Francesco Akira, KUSHIDA, YOH, Master Wato, DOUKI, and SHO.
The sole STARDOM name confirmed thus far is Syuri.
